With generous staff purchase offers and strong sales training courses, our teams consist of Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, Senior Sales Professionals and Sales Assistants, however the mix of roles does differ from store to store. The key is that we are one strong team.
Store Managers are responsible for achieving sales targets and ensuring the highest standards of customer care are provided at all times. They also ensure all other retail disciplines are performed to the highest standards, such as merchandising, stock management and administration. Store Managers work with their Cluster, Area and/or Regional Managers to ensure the store operates at the highest possible level, and that all retail standards are met or exceeded. Store Managers provide coaching and feedback to Team Members to help them achieve their targets.
Assistant Store Managers
In some stores there are Assistant Store Managers. They help the Store Manager run the store, and assist in all areas including Team Member coaching and feedback. Sales Assistants that demonstrate exceptional customer service, selling skills, team work and show leadership potential can move into this role. High performing Assistant Store Managers may then be appointed as Store Managers once they have completed their training and vacancies arise.
Senior Sales Professionals
In some stores there are Senior Sales Professionals. They aim to maintain the highest level of customer service and quality. They lead by example by spending a considerable amount of time determining customers' needs and providing exceptional customer service. When the Manager is not present, they have the responsibility for the general day to day running of the store. They ensure that the store operates successfully and always act in a committed and professional manner.
Sales Assistants spend considerable time exploring each customer's needs, demonstrating options, and making product recommendations. These Team Members have exceptional communication and customer care skills. They are continually enhancing their product knowledge so they always provide expert advice. They also ensure products are receipted, unpacked, correctly priced and placed throughout the store. They help set up promotions and displays and help with administrative tasks like stocktaking, stock transfers and orders. Whilst there will be other tasks they perform, their sole purpose is to provide the enjoyable shopping experience and friendly, informative, attentive service we have become renowned for.
